general lead-acid battery scrap is currently at $0.20/lb for dead lead still floating in brine. so your batteries at 7 lbs cash at $1.40 each minimum. auto battery core pays about $9/ea or so regardless of size, which puzzles me. keep that in mind on trade deals. and if they're charging as much over FMV as they're returning on core, you did not win. that's all i have to say about that.
