Orb Crates

Each Orb has a wooden shipping crate fabricated from plywood and two-by-fours.

They are held together with drywall screws: a screwgun is required to crate/uncrate the orbs. Crates are designed to come apart into two half-cubes of three sides. Make sure you know which sides stay attached before you start unscrewing things. Screws which are to be removed are designated with orange glow paint.

Crate dimensions are 33 x 33 inches wide/deep and 36 1/2 inches high. Dimensions may vary by 1/2 inch or so.

A loaded crate has not been weighed but is likely on the order of 80 lbs or so.
